What goals do you have for 2020?
It’s not only a new year, it’s the start to a new decade. What do the years ahead have in store for you? Are you ready to show the world what you’re capable of? Whether you’re an attorney looking to make partner or a real estate agent hoping to close on more homes, or an independent business owner who wants to show current and prospective clients why they should hire you, your social media presence is key. A great way to start is with a killer headshot. It’s often the very first thing people see of you even before you meet. Do you want to risk them scrolling by, or even worse, coming to the conclusion that you aren’t up to the job? First impressions are formed in nanoseconds and are often based on your headshot.
My goal is to ensure your headshot and photography posts on social media capture you in a flattering light, showing you as the top-notch professional you are as well as someone who is approachable and fun to be around. It’s that combination that will attract clients and want them to do business with you.
As a rule of thumb, you should update your headshot every couple of years. We change over time — gaining or losing weight, changing hairstyle, switching out glasses. You should still love your headshot, no matter what life has sent your way.
I love working with clients who hate having their photo taken. I aim to show you that it doesn’t have to be a painful process and, in fact, can be loads of fun! I’m here to coach you on ways to showcase you and your talents, whether it’s with a headshot session, personal branding or even heirloom portraits. Don’t see something you need? Just contact me and we can brainstorm on ways to elevate you and your career through photography.
