Who says your business portrait can only be taken against a white or gray backdrop? Those are great and standard colors for sites like LinkedIn, where you want to stand out with a captivating expression but not necessarily stand out with a non-traditional color that could potentially make you look less-than-serious about your career and goals.
But in this day and age, a headshot has a wide variety of uses. Your Instagram or Facebook profile. Your own website or blog. A dating website. Your company website where you might want to match its branding colors and design.
You’re not a boring person so why lock yourself into boring colors? Let your personality shine through! Have some fun and take a few calculated chances. The worst that can happen is you end up not picking the images and we move on.
Among the backdrops I’ve got stocked in the studio are deep yellow, crimson red, pink, baby blue, marine blue, beige and olive green. Soon, we’ll bring in a pretty violet and pale yellow. There also are some beautiful handpainted backdrops that are excellent choices for more stylized portraits.
During my headshot and personal branding sessions, I never set a time limit. That gives us the freedom to explore a variety of looks and ensure we deliver exactly what you need. Sometimes your needs may change, so I always ensure I collaborate with clients and have a good sense of not only what they’re doing currently _ but what they envision doing in the years ahead.
Here are just a few examples of what I provided a recent client, just part of the 5-star service I aim to deliver clients each and every time.
