There’s no question that life right now is tumultuous and, frankly, scary. I’ve long believed that one of the most important aspects of photography is to benefit my clients. That usually means helping them find a new job, elevate their business profile in the Treasure Valley or, yes, even find a date online. But these days, I believe sharing outtakes from my headshot sessions is one very small way I can perhaps bring some joy to people’s lives.
I can’t wait to get back into the photo studio to work with clients again. We’ll get back at it when it’s safe to do so and when Idaho’s stay-at-home directive has been lifted.
But if you want to see something to get your mind off of all the hardship around us, hop on over to my Instagram account (@lmpanephotography) and keep an eye out for some fun photos I’ll be sharing in the coming weeks. As an associate photographer in the Peter Hurley Headshot Crew, a global network of headshot photographers, we are involved in a new campaign to find a way, however small, to bring joy. Just check out the hashtag #sharerealsmiles.
It’s a glimpse into what happens during every headshot session: laughter, levity, big smiles. And then we get down to the business of producing some killer headshots that aim to exude confidence and approachability, the key ingredients to a successful headshot.
Stay well and take care of one another!
